My favorite Australian-bound figure skater Amber gave me a Koala Bear, a bottle of Australian wine and Koala Poop (aka Milk Duds, Chocolate Covered Raisins and Chocolate Covered Peanuts) for graduation. The Koala Poop is not pictured here because my Koala Poop loving husband ate them.

Yes, this is my gown and master's hood! I picked it up today! Yikes! I am really going to graduate... Amazing!

Look at yesterday's photo and then reverse time two plus years and you get this little girl! This is the Emma the day she was born. So cute!

In lieu of the photo I should have taken for this day, I bring you my niece Emma. She's really better than any photo I could have taken that day.

Saturday, May 24th

Saturday we were at my mother-in-law's house getting it ready for us to move in. We found a great deal on ceiling fans and this is James after he installed the first one. It is sheer joy that is on his face. Sheer joy.

Photo-a-Day

So, I've wanted to follow up on this idea I've seen in various blogs to take a photo a day or to take up the challenge to take a photo a day for one year. Last fall, James bought me a cool-i-mo professional like camera. I love to take pictures and wanted to focus on that as a hobby/outlet. Well, life got the best of me but it has recently been on my mind to try and take a stab at that. So, with that in mind, I am going to try to do my best to snap a photo a day. Enjoy!

While perusing the Crate & Barrel catalogue, I realized the Crate and Barrel designed a line of table linens after me. They are called "Zoey Table Linens". The description...

"How does our garden grow? Fun, flamboyant floral in vibrant blues, greens, purples, golds and reds blooms exotic casual white cotton."

Seems like a fitting description for my table linens and me.
